The recreational resort of Sarti can be found on the middle finger of the imaginary Poseidon’s trident - Sithonia. It is located on its south-east coast about 80 km from the capital of Polygyros, looking at the third, sacred promontory of Athos with the monks living in impressive monastery buildings.

The beach in Sarti is very long (almost 4 km), so you don’t need to be afraid you wouldn’t find there a place to relax. Even if you are not an experienced swimmer or you are taking your children with you, you will be delighted by the crystal clear sea, sloping very gently to the depth. Nonetheless, in some places you should still be careful, as the undersea ground can be tricky. You can also encounter quite huge waves, which will please the lovers of water sports like windsurfing, kayaking or water skiing. On the other hand, the calm water will delight the local divers. The smallest ones can enjoy climbing frames and other attractions, while the adults can go for a drive on a scooter or a four-wheeler from the local hire service, or a use a tennis court or ride a horse.
