Arkassa
Arkassa Resort
The resorts is located in close proximity of the sea, with a view on the opposite island of Kassos. Unlike Lefkos or Ammopi, former fishing settlements with a minimum of permanent inhabitants, that are developing into tourist resorts little by little, Arkassa is a permanently inhabited village where you can meet the locals in tavernas and cafés. There are a few small hotels and suites houses, and also a few shops.
In the south from the village, you will find the frequently visited wide sandy beach of Agios Nikolaos that has been awarded the EU Blue Flag for top quality. Arkassu can be recommended to all lovers of peace and relaxation, but also sea waves. There are not so many tavernas like in Amoopi, for example, but all the faster you can get to know the friendly locals.
