Lefkos Resort
The Lefkos resort is a calm fishing village on the west coast with approximately 30 permanent inhabitants located 33 km far from Pigadia, becoming lively with the influx of tourists during the summer season every year. The main asset of the resort are its beautiful beaches. There are five of them to choose from altogether, with the calm pebbly beach of Potali located within a 20 minutes walking distance from the Lefkos centre, the main beach of Gialou Chorafi with fine sand and a gentle slope into the water, protected against the meltemi wind and with a with tamarisks prodiving shade, perfect for families with children, the small bay of Limáni Panagia behind the port, the open long beach of Frangolimionas for those who love huge waves, and the sandy bays of Perdikás Potámi in the north, a popular place to bathe naked. There are still more and more accommodation facilities every year but Lefkos still remains a very peaceful resort with no night entertainment, only a few tavernas, shops, and car rental services.
