Fanes Resort

From the tourist point of view, Fanes is not so much a resort but rather a name of a hotel complex near the village of Fanes. It is located about 1500 - 2000 m from the sea and you will only find there the basic facilities including a taverna and a minimarket. It resembles the nearby resort of Theologos. If you are fine with spending your holiday in a hotel complex, then borth resorts are fine. Yet if you want to see more of the island, it is recommendable to look around for the resorts on the other side of the island, like Stegna, Kolymbia, Lardos, Pefki, among others.

The beach near the Fanes resort is a mixed one; you will find there more pebbles and stones.
