Theologos Resort

The Theologos resort is a former village on the west coast of Rhodes located near the airport. The place doesn´t really stand out, although you can find advertisments in the catalogues of travel agencies praising and recommending the place. In the village there is nothing at all, and so, Theologos can only be recommended when you need to put up somewhere for the night. If you are fine with walking past the old little houses, visit one or two tavernas and a few shops, you might be satisfied though. There is a main road leading to the capital passing through the centre of the place, so the capital is quite well accessible from there.

About 5 from north of Theologos, you will find the airport. and about 3 km south, the Soroni power plant.

Theologos beaches

The beaches near Theologos are very wide, with a tree here and there, and covered with a mixture of sand and pebbles. For pictures, see the link. You should count on rather big waves, like everywhere on this side of the island. There is a surf school in the place.
