Kiotari
Kiotari Resort
Kiotari is a bit hard to be located - on the map, it is a tiny village on the coast, while in reality it is an about 4 km long stretch of hotel complexes with a taverna and a house here and there. The Kiotari beach is formed mostly by small pebbles, and, compared to other resorts, the local environment is nothing that special. The hotel complexes offer all the luxury you can imagine, there are sports grounds, swimming pools and a choice of sports activities, yet the hotel premises are not really outstanding, not even for the beach. If you like some of the hotels though and you would like to rent a car and travel, then it is fine. Yet if you are looking for a nice beach and environment and want to know a bit more of the island, Kiotari is not recommendable.
Near the hotel complexes, there are two clubs where you can enjoy a bit of nightlife, and there are several tavernas in the village.
Close to Kiotari towards the interior, there is a charming Greek village of Asklépio with the original Greek atmosphere. You can also make an interesting trip to the Monolithos castle or the ancient town of Lindos.
