Haraki
Haraki Resort
Haraki is a picturesque resort stretching on the sandy coast of an about 250 m wide bay. When you arrive at the place, the resort doesn´t really look special as you can only see the back part of tavernas and suites. Yet from the other side it is totally different. There is a wide colonnade all along the bay, with the sea and a sandy beaches with small pebbles on one side, and two-floor suites on the other side. On the ground floor, they often have a small taverna or a bar, while on the first floor they offer accommodation. It could be said that every house there is a tavern at the same time. The whole place is really charming, and together with the beach of Agia Agatha located really close, the Heraki resort is definitely worth visiting (if you don´t find any tour, you can at least stop there for a coffee).
On the hill above the Haraki bay, there rises the ruin of the Knights Hospitalier Castle Feraklos.
