Amoudi
Amoudi
Amoudi is a small village in the north-east of Zakynthos. It is a peaceful place with several tavernas and a few shops living at its own pace. The village is completely relaxed amidst plenty of olive groves, vineyards and a few small sandy beaches. You can walk to the nearby port of Psarou, and, within a one hour walking distance, you will also find the bigger resorts of Alikanasa and Alikes. Amoudi is perfect for families with children as there are no loud dicos or noise at night, on the other hand, you can get anywhere walking or on a rented bike. In Amousi there is a car, scooter, four-wheeler and bicycle rental service. You shouldn´t rely too much on the public transport though, as the bus arrives there only occasionally.
Amoudi beach
The Amoudi beach is a sandy one with a gentle slope into the water. It has been awarded the EU Blue Flag for its perfect cleanliness and is suitable also for the lovers of snorkelling.
