Lepeda settlement
Lepeda Resort
The small settlement of Lepeda is located only a few kilometres away from the bigger resort of Lixouri on the south-eastern tip of the Paliki peninsula on Cephalonia. The settlement has emerged thanks to a charming beach covered with goldish sand with impressive rocks completing its unique scenery. As for accommodation, you will find there private family villas, houses and bugalows; don´t expect any huge sparkling luxury hotel complexes. Lepeda is a peaceful resort perfect for rest and relaxation, sought-after mainly by families with children. You will find there umbrellas, deckchairs, changing cubicles, showers, and a variety of water sports. You can also play beach volleyball there.
Lepeda beaches
The several dozens of metres long beach is covered with a tapestry of reddish sand sloping up to the seabed. The beach is clean and well-maintained, although sea algae can appear here and there. Close to the beach, you can refresh yourself in a stand, restaurant, or a bar, while in the little shop, you can buy foodstuffs and drinks. If you are looking for more variety though, you will need to visit the nearby Lixouri.
