Hanioti

Hanioti is a summer holiday resort located on the south-east coast of the popular Kassandra peninsula, the westernmost of the three spikes of the imaginary Poseidon’s trident on Chalkidiki. With its location towards the east, from the local coast you can see up to the middle promontory of Sithonia.

The small an very nice village of Hanioti offers mainly peace and relaxation to its visitors, aiming at families with children, and so, some of the services in hotels and restaurants are adapted for the smallest ones. Yet the place can be definitely enjoyed by visitors of all age groups who will become fond of the romantic scenery of the village, long walks on the beach at the sunset, and delicious traditional cuisine. As for the accommodation, you can choose from various options depending on your budget and preferences. There are both luxury hotels and cheaper accommodation in private houses.

On the coast, white sandy beach and deep blue sea surface stretches, with small hills and forests in the background - which is where most tourists are heading for. The entry into the sea there is very gentle, and so providing a perfect paddling for the children, or lying around in the shallow water. Those who like to spend their days in a more active manner can choose from some of the water sports.

What to do in Hanioti

There are not too many possibilities to go shopping and the services in general are not very developed either. In the local shops, you will get all the basic groceries and souvenirs. You shouldn’t expect any noisy night entertainment either - the nights full of fun take place only in the bigger hotel complexes. Yet the area is perfect for long walks and hiking tours in the surroundings, or going for a (motor)bike trip.
