Porto Carras

The resort of Porto Carras is located on the middle of the three fingers of the Chalkidiki Peninsula protruding to the Aegean Sea, called Sithonia. The resort can be found on the west coast, in view from the neighbouring west promontory of Kassandra.

The huge luxury hotel complex located at the mouth of a charming deep blue bay with expensive yachts and boats offers both standard and above the standard accommodation and restaurant services. Beaches in Porto Carras are stretching all along the coast near the hotel complex, of which two are the main and the most visited ones. In the surroundings you will also find more, less frequented bays and beaches. The whole area is characteristic with clean deep blue sea water that has been awarded the EU Blue Flag for top quality. You will find there all the comfort including umbrellas, deckchairs, lifeguards, refreshment in the beach bars, and entertainment in the night clubs.

Near the hotel the wine lovers can visit a wine cellar to taste the liquid harvest and see a presentation of its production. Obviously you can also set off to see the surroundings and explore the whole Chalkidiki peninsula in a rented car or on a mountain bike.
