Trypiti Resort

The small and peaceful resort of Trypiti, despite not being a resort in the true sense of the word, fills with joy all the visitors of the south-west of Thassos about 40 km from the capital. All the action is concentrated around the beach where several accommodation facilities and tavernas have grown.

About 3,5 km from the resort, you will find the holiday destination of Limenaria with more beaches (see Thassos beaches) and more options of various activities. Transport is assured by regular buses, or you can rent a car or a motorbike and travel on your own. The island capital can be accessed by bus or rented means of transport, too.

Trypiti beach

The beach of Trypiti stretches along a beautiful bay and is formed by a wide stretch of goldish sand and pebbles. The clean and crystal clear water is perfect for bathing and sports activities (you can play voleyball, for example, which is very popular in the place). if you prefer to just idle and relax, you can rent an umbrella and a deckchair. Once you have a lie-down on the coast, you can relish the view on the wooded mountains. The seabed slopes downn really gently, thus providing enough shallow water for children´s games and non or less experienced swimmers. You will also find there a small children´s playground.
