Svoronata
Svoronata Resort
The village of Svoronata can be found on the west coast of Cephalonia. With the proximity of the airport, it is a rather busy place since after about 15 minutes, you can already be lying on a beautiful beach.
Unlike other coast regions of Cephalonia, Svoronata surroundings are quite lowland, and so, they are perfect for hiking and long walks, without needing to climb on hills and conquer steep mountains.
Svoronata beaches
Near Svoronata, there are sandy beaches stretching on the coast of the Ionian Sea, with the longest beach of Avithos located approximately in the middle of a long and spatious bay with several curves and secluded places. Together with a few rocks and sky-blue sea water, the softy rosy and reddish sand creates a unique atmosphere. There are umbrellas and deckchairs available and obviously the necessary refreshment including ice-cold drinks.
