Anissaras Resort

The Anissaras resort belongs to an about 6 km long stretch where the resorts of Kato Gouves, Analipsi and Anissaras mingle. Anissaras is located in the immediate proximity of the very popular and frequently visited resort of Hersonissos which is the capital town of this area.

Besides the water park, families with children but also the disabled ones can visit the local beach, sloping very gently and providing enough space for different water pleasures even for non-swimmers.

Those who like historical sites and nature will certainly appreciate the possibility of getting to know some of the most interesting monuments and natural formations on the island: the Lasithi Plateau, the best well-known plateau famous for hundreds of its windmills, is located about 30 km away, and the archaeological sites of Knossos or Heraklion, the Crete capital, are situated about 20 km from Anisarras.

Anissaras is not suitable for those searching for a calm holiday in a peaceful environment, complete privacy and few people. Yet all the others will certainly enjoy their stay in the resort.
