Ferma Resort
The small village of Ferma where time seems to have stopped is located on the south-east coast about 10 km from the well-known town of Ierapetra and more than 100 km from Heraklion.
What to do there?
At first glance, the village will catch your attention with its picturesque bay, a very nice beach and crystal clear sea. The surrounding coast is fringed by romantic rocks and without any doubt, it is ranked among the most beautiful localities on Crete. Along the road passing through the village, you will find several traditional tavernas, rooms for rent, and little shops. You should definitely not miss the opportunity to taste some of the local specialities, whether it will be a grilled fish and some traditional Cretan cuisine. One of the renowned restaurants is Psaropoúla, located about 2 km away from the village on the route to Ierapetra.
Who is Ferma suitable for?
Ferma is interesting especially for those travellers who prefer calm and traditional places in the proximity of a bigger town offering more possibilities of shopping and entertainment.
