Damnoni Resort

Damnoni is a very nice resort, probably one of the best ones on Crete, It is not so much a classical resort but more a small village in the Damnoni Bay. You can find there a few hotels, villas, tavernas and a minimarket.

There are several beaches in Damnoni: Or you can visit the beautiful local beach in the resort, or go more to the east with a very indented coast and many tiny beaches providing enough peace and privacy. 

What to do in Damnoni?

Damnoni is very peaceful - for some, it can even be too much. So, if idling on the beach and sitting in a taverna is not enough for you, you will need to move on a bit. Towards the west, you will find the resort of Plakias which is located about 1.5 kilometre over a hill. If you don´t feel like walking, during the high season, there is a small train being operated between Plakias and Damnoni.
