Kalamaki
Kalamaki Resort
The Kalamaki resort is mingling with the neighbouring resort of Kato Daratso, with which it shares a shallow bay with wide sandy beaches and plenty of green vegetation.
What to do in Kalamaki?
Although Kalamaki itself doesn´t have the original Cretan atmosphere as it consists mainly of newly built edifices and accommodation facilities, you can still spend there a very nice holiday. You can get to the nearby resorts only by a few minutes walk on a sandy beach, or you can use a taxi or some of the frequent buses and visit the splendid old town of Hania where you will find everything including historical sites but also varied nightlife.
Like in all resorts in the north Crete, Kalamaki also has all the basic tourist services, including equipped beaches, tavernas, bars…
