What to do in Stavros

Stavros lacks the historical background of romantic villages since it is basically a clump of big or small accommodation facilities built mainly during the last 25 years. Staying there is a completely unique experience as everything in the resort is built on a flat desert-like promontory forming two large gulfs and a few smaller bays with crystal clear water. 

The Stavros resort has basic tourist equipment - you will find there a few tavernas, a bar, a general store, and beach equipment in some palces. If you want to enjoy more social or night life, you will need to go to the nearby town of Chania.
